MCNARY VINEYARD

The vines at McNary are planted in high density at 1,245 vines per acre with a number of high performing clones to promote both quality and diversity. The varieties grown include: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Gris. 

McNary is a cool and windy site overlooking the Columbia River in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA. The vineyard is owned and operated by the Four Feathers division of the Zirkle Fruit Company.

AVA: Horse Heaven Hills (Columbia Valley)

Soil: Sandy soils on a basalt cliff

Perspective: Situated on the Columbia River, overlooking the McNary dam; southeast corner is slightly cooler than the typically warm Horse Heaven Hills standards.
